I am currently an Assistant Professor of Economics and Real Estate in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Legal Studies in the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. I received my PhD in Applied Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in May 2024.
I study applied microeconomics with particular focus in real estate and urban economics, labor economics, public economics, and experimental economics. My research uses empirical and experimental techniques to study real estate markets, labor markets, and the provision of public goods. You can find information on my various research projects here.
Prior to graduate school, I worked as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia with the Regional/Microeconomics team in the Research Department. I received my B.A. in Economics with a concentration in mathematical economics from Haverford College in 2012.
